Alax and puzzles

Two year of our efforts to improve our products

Negotiation failure

Our manufacturer shouted: you can’t find a better quality product than ours. The negotiation failed, and my partners and I fell into despair after looking at the puzzle stacked in the warehouse. It is a fact that we can not find a better supplier in time. However, their quality can not meet our needs. Many puzzles in the market are gray card puzzles with low-quality dust and poor cutting, or white card puzzles with poor hardness and easy to spread. This can not satisfy me, because the puzzle is not only a puzzle, but also a bond that can let the family share happiness and deepen their feelings. I hope that when people recall our products, they are full of happiness instead of disappointment and dissatisfaction.

A new way to find

The next day, we decided to start looking for new manufacturers. We traveled 2000km and visited 17 factories, but we were disappointed that none of them could meet the requirements. Finally, a month later, one of the factories contacted us and said that they had a cooperative factory that could produce, but the cost would be twice as expensive as ours. After calculation, we found that the total cost was as high as more than US 20 . This means that our products are not competitive at all. We went to their responsible person and talked for a week, but finally we failed to reduce the cost.

The team began to analyze, and they thought that the market should be abandoned, and there was no profit at all. But we have worked hard for nearly two years, and now we are almost at the last step. I am not willing to give up like this. I insisted that we make a batch of this product first. If the quality can meet our requirements, we’ll have a try. Even if we can’t make money in the end, it’s a happy thing to let our children have a memorable childhood. They thought I was too naive and left the office angrily.

My father never did jigsaw puzzles with me again

I used to do jigsaw puzzles, but I often met with poorly scattered and cut pieces or missing pieces. Once my father bought a box of jigsaw puzzles and he was always busy.
